WINE

Red Wine

Combro Colheita

A typical DOC Douro wine, with an intense aroma of red and black fruits, balanced with aromas of spices, tobacco and leather. On the palate, it shows structure, intensity, full body and firm tannins.

WINEMAKING

Red wine produced in granite "lagares" with foot treading for two days and then transferred to stainless steel vats with temperature control during fermentation. Both the alcoholic and malolactic fermentations took place spontaneously, with indigenous yeasts and lactic acid bacteria, respectively. The wine was aged in French oak for 18 months.
